What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly motivated Materials Analyst for the Pratt & Whitney, F119 Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC), supporting the F22 Raptor fleet. The successful candidate will manage and track gas turbine engine parts through repair and assembly processes to ensure production schedules are met. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage part shortages, support repair processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Inventory Management & Parts Tracking:

  • Manage and track parts inventory across multiple production modules, ensuring timely identification of part shortages to meet production schedules.
  • Use SAP to reconcile parts, perform swaps, and coordinate part routing to external vendors or internal repair teams.

Expediting Materials & Reconciliation:

  • Expedite materials for repair ensuring timely movement through the supply chain.
  • Assist with coordination of parts swaps and routing for critical repair processes.
  • Support engine assembly cells by prioritizing part movements to alleviate work stoppages.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Work closely with the Fleet and Program Mangers to ensure seamless coordination of materials and parts.
  • Participate in material review meetings, parts supportability meetings, and scheduling meetings.
  • Engage in continuous improvement events through active participation in training, committees, and events.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Create and maintain reporting documents providing regular updates on parts supportability, inventory status, and production timelines.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Aerospace or Business
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in material scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain in an aerospace MRO environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement methodologies such as CORE, Six Sigma, or Lean (CORE Associate preferred).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with good problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to flexible roles in a start-up environment.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0  

Additional Information:

  • Must be willing to work 1st (0700-1600) or 2nd (1500-2400) shift and weekends, on a rotational basis. Or overtime hours of 0445-0700 or 1500-2400 weekdays and weekends on a rotational basis.

  • Must be willing to rotate between multiple HMC’s and Warehouse facilities to support materials functions as needed.

  • Minimal travel may be required.

  • Commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all safety policies and procedures.
