Summary
Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of customer revenue. Recommend and coordinate implementation of new services to enhance customer satisfaction and operational procedures. Perform special projects as requested by the department manager. Provides expertise required to administer accounting studies and develop revenue-reporting systems. Designs, monitors, and updates internal controls surrounding revenue reporting.
What You'll Do
• Compiles, reviews and reports monthly revenue for approximately 1 million customers.
• Works with external and internal auditors to complete annual audit of revenue and revenue systems.
• Operates computer systems for customer and accounting functions, cost analysis, and budgets that will provide all levels of SRP management with the information they require to make both financial and operational decisions on a timely basis.
• Participates with analysts from application services on developing reporting systems. Responsible for the identification of requirements, functional design, testing, and documentation related to special initiatives.
• Prepares special studies for analyses that are generally directed to executive management or governmental agencies.
• Reconciles accounts within the financial system to ensure the systems is operating within the established financial controls.
• Maintains internal control system designed to ensure revenue is accurately reported on in a timely manner.
What It Takes To Succeed
Programming fluency in SAS, LOTUS, and other program language currently used by the company. High degree of confidentiality required. Ability to handle stress from cutoff and accounting period closings and work deadlines. CPA or CIA is helpful.

Experience
Promotion to level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to senior level requires a minimum of three years experience at level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
Education
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
