What You Will Do
The Commercial Engines Leadership Development Program (CELDP) is a business-focused, two-year rotational development program. Over the course of these two-years, you will experience four different six-month rotations across Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engine Business in East Hartford, Connecticut. The Commercial Engines Business at Pratt & Whitney focuses on designing, manufacturing, and servicing advanced aircraft engines for commercial airlines worldwide. The CELDP will provide growth opportunities and broad exposure to the Commercial Engines Business and aerospace industry, covering experiences across the Commercial Engines Operations, Customer Support, Geared Turbofan and Mature Commercial Engines Programs, and Sales/Marketing.
Below are a few examples of the types of assignments you might receive in your rotation:
- Sales Operations: Support our sales team as they grow our portfolio of airline customers through exciting sales campaigns
- Fleet Management: Manages long-term engine maintenance contracts for our airline customers
- Program Management: Manages the safety, reliability, strategy and profitability of our engine models
- Supplier Performance: Manage suppliers who provide repair services supporting the engine overhaul network
- Spare Parts Sales: Manages the logistics & forecasting for selling engine parts
- Customer Support: Builds and maintains our customer relationships and helps ensure our engine fleets are operating smoothly
- Business Development: Creates new and innovative approaches to selling our services to customers
Key Responsibilities
- Work with rotational supervisor on high-impact projects in support of key business objectives within Commercial Engines
- Deliver report out to Commercial Engines senior leadership team on achieved rotation deliverables at the conclusion of each assignment
- Mentoring of peers within the CELDP as more experience is gained
- Support of CELDP as a program through functional assignments in recruiting, onboarding and networking outreach

Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a Business discipline, such as Management, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Information Systems; Mathematics; Engineering (with a business interest and/or minor); Aviation or related field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
