Purpose of the Job

Job Description

As an Air Freight Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling and transportation of goods via air. Your responsibilities will include managing cargo, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth operations within the air freight process. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that shipments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Description: 

• Coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo from aircraft.
• Ensure that goods are handled safely and securely, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• repare and review shipping documents such as air waybills, customs declarations, and manifests.
• Verify that all documentation complies with international, federal, and local regulations.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to air freight shipments.
• Provide updates on shipment status and handle any service requests or complaints.
• Monitor and track cargo throughout its journey, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Report any discrepancies or delays in shipments to supervisors.
• Stay informed about air freight regulations and industry standards
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and customs requirements
• Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to process improvements and help implement best practices.

Education: Logistics, industrial engineering, business administration or any related field.

Experience: Previous experience in air freight, logistics, or a related field is a plus
