Job Description
As we accelerate the transformation of the Manufacturing IT operating model, there is a need to incorporate modern ways of working including the adoption of an Agile capability to deliver value to our customers faster particularly in the execution of our Transformational Portfolio.
The Agile Project manager will be focused on the execution of continuous improvement projects which could include process improvements or delivery of Digital Products. The role will provide the opportunity to get a broad understanding of our manufacturing processes as you could be working on projects that support supply chain, manufacturing operations, laboratory testing, logistics or compliance. This person will support cross functional delivery team(s) utilizing agile methodologies as appropriate.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the team in project planning and execution using Agile tools and methods in alignment with divisional standards.
Supporting the team in managing the financials for their project including processing funding requests & approvals, maintaining the project forecast, and resource management.
Planning and coordination of team workshops both virtual and in-person – willingness to travel (20%).
Acting as the single point of contact for value management.
Serve as a champion and change agent for the adoption of Agile tools & methods.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required with a preference for Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or a related field.
Education minimum requirements subject to change based on country.
Required Experience:
2 years or more of applied experience using Agile methodologies with working knowledge of Jira/Confluence.
2+ years or more of applied experience in portfolio/project financial management.
Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication.
Demonstrated ability in running workshops – possesses the ability to “own a room” and keep the team on topic.
Prior working exp collaborating and communicating with a variety of audiences and stakeholders including, but not limited to executive management, business leaders, IT peers, and colleagues in a global setting.
Preferred Experience:
Pharmaceutical industry exp.
Scrum Master Certification.
Work experience in manufacturing environment.
Understanding of software development principles and lifecycle (SDLC).
