Professional Development Program (PDP) – Field Biology Class of 2024 Where the Chemistry Happens… BASF's Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional and leadership skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers. Program Summary: APPLICATION IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS RECEIVING A MASTER’S or PhD DEGREE with an emphasis in agronomy/crop science, horticulture, weed science, plant pathology, entomology or a related field BETWEEN August 2023 and May 2024. Start date is flexible dependent on selected candidates availability. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply up to a year after graduation.- Leverage your education and experience to engage with a multidisciplined team to evaluate new technologies ranging from early stage product candidates to improvements to our existing portfolio. Execute field research programs across a range of disciplines, including establishment, application, data collection and results analysis and communication. Effectively engage across the business to understand customer needs and how our innovations can help to address them. Develop and communicate research objectives, plans/protocols and methodologies to achieve outcomes supporting phase gate decisions. Upon your completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to join our Talent Pipeline for a role with the biology or related team.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
