- Afterschool positions will be offered based on student enrollment and available funding. A minimum enrollment of 10 students per teacher is required for each session in order to provide afterschool services. Positions may be terminated if funding ends or enrollment is insufficient.
- Site Coordinators must commit to either 2 or 4 nights per week at the school of their choice; each school will have either 2 Site Coordinators (working 2 nights each) or 1 Site Coordinator (working all 4 nights).

Successful candidates must have teacher and/or administrative certification at the appropriate programmatic level.
Candidates must be available to work two or four evenings per week.
Job Description
The site coordinator will help manage and provide a high-quality afterschool program.
Ensure the safety and security of all students enrolled.
Make certain county and afterschool policies and procedures are followed.
Verify compliance with the afterschool program schedule.
Support teachers in delivering the afterschool and Save the Children programming/curriculum.
Assist in identifying children based on STAR Assessment data.
Validate afterschool lessons, address the needs of students, fostering more consistency between regular-day and afterschool programs.
Administer pre- and post-assessments for children participating in Save the Children programming.
Demonstrate ability to use technology for collection and communication of all program-required data to the 21st Century Grant Director, according to grant requirements, in an accurate and timely manner.
Completed in full and submit to the building principal the end-of-year documentation binder as a required component of the EOY checkout process.
Complete the Family Engagement Checklist to identify the site-specific family engagement focusareas for the program year.
Complete an annual Family Engagement Planning Guide to outline specific family engagementpractices and activities to be conducted throughout the program year.
Conduct monthly family engagement events during the program year to address key FamilyEngagement strategies.
Conduct the required Family Post-Survey at the end of the program year; send home andactively encourage the completion and return of the Family Post-Survey by one parent/caregiver ofeach family with a child participating in the program.
Attend all professional development related to the afterschool program.
Submit family engagement data, including Family Post-Survey data and other identified datapoints, to Save the Children, the principal, and the County Program Coordinator for analysis and review.
Work with the school librarian to organize the books used for Save the Children programs.
Assist school personnel in the correct use of Renaissance products, as needed.
Address individual children's needs with appropriate staff and devise possible solutions
Assist school staff in administering STAR Assessments, if needed.
Administer post-STAR assessments (if their school/program doesn't otherwise do so) for everychild in Save the Children's in-school and afterschool programs.
Communicate regularly with the 21st Century Grant Director, Save the Children Lead Associate, and building principal regarding afterschool activities.
Recruit students for participation in the program each week.
Record/submit program attendance, activity logs, and other necessary data and information.
Be available to teach sessions when needed.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Help monitor the activity bus radio.
Collaborate with Save the Children's Lead Associate to foster an understanding of safeguarding and data protection policies through ongoing training and technical assistance.
Work closely with all program staff to ensure consistent reporting of safeguarding risks andincidents; strong methodology in the field for managing risks and following reporting protocols;
Supply proper documentation in support of incident reports as needed.
