WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Project Coordinator in support of a contract for the U.S. Army’s recruitment advertising program. Fors Marsh supports this program as part of a team of advertising and other agency partners. The Project Coordinator will support all aspects of program management for a large, multi-task contract, working hand-in-hand with a Sr. Project Coordinator and Task Order and activity leads. This includes ongoing tracking and reporting of contract performance, procurements, schedules, and deliverables.

The selected individual will work in collaboration with Fors Marsh division leadership, finance and contract teams, research team members, as well as agency partners to ensure all aspects of contract performance are consistently and successfully met. Successful individuals in this role will thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven and highly collaborative environment. Additionally, comfort with ambiguous and evolving nature of projects is a central component of this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating closely with project managers on numerous contracts to help ensure the project delivery, fiscal health, and quality are exceptional.
  • Reviewing and preparing procurement requests and other project administration documentation.
  • Maintaining organized and detailed record keeping for contract deliverables and other critical documentation, including creating and maintaining a variety of master calendars and schedules and communicating out dates and deadlines to relevant team members.
  • Developing and tracking contract timelines to ensure required deliverables are submitted in a consistent manner, error-free, and on-time to the client.
  • Capturing meeting notes and clearly communicating action items.
  • Working with project teams and Sr. Project Coordinator to define, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Capturing lessons learned throughout a project, developing and implementing plans for best practice enhancements and improvements.
  • Maintaining standard operating procedure documents (SOPs) that support account activity execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in areas such as business, social sciences, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing project management support in a consulting or agency environment. Project management experience in government contracting or DoD/Civilian Agency highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills a MUST.
  • Experience with creating and tracking timelines, coordinating meetings, providing administrative support, purchase order processing, and expense tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work well with others, including large internal and client teams, as well as independently and under minimal supervision.
  • Experience using a range of project management tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or others. Experience with Smartsheet strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Experience with Deltek strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
