Job Summary:
Chief administrator in the administration, planning, and delivery of all student financial aid programs (federal grants, loans, and work-study, alternative loans, state grants and scholarships, institutional scholarships, and external grants and scholarships), on-campus student employment eligibility, monitoring and resolution of transmitted grant, scholarship, and loan data, document processing, and cost of attendance assignment to ensure sound fiscal management, regulatory compliance, and student access.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and institutional requirements to assure maximum funding, eligibility, and continued participation for all student financial assistance and on-campus student employment programs. Provide departmental direction, expectations, and leadership for the awarding of federal, state, institutional, and external funds, independent judgment decisions, reconciliation of funds, student recruitment, and hiring processes, correspondence, and training.
Supervise program coordinators and indirect reports to ensure timely and accurate delivery of student financial aid program funds and on-campus student employment recruitment and eligibility by providing direction, expectations, and support. Serve as the lead administrator to collaborate and direct the development of college-wide solutions to regulatory requirements, new initiatives, and the implementation of the Strategic Plan as it relates to financial aid programs and on-campus student employment eligibility.
Must possess a strong knowledge of technical options for implementation of new programs or initiatives; and, for improving efficiency and accuracy of existing programs and initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Significant financial aid experience.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Significant administrative or leadership experience in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree.
Significant supervisory experience.
Experience evaluating, testing, and implementing financial aid technology that is part of an institution-wide ERP system.
