Job Summary

The Financial Analyst is a results-oriented role reporting to the CFO. This role also works closely with our Division Finance Directors, sector Controller and will interact will individuals throughout the organization. The primary function of this role is to analyze the past and present financial data and make actionable insights available across the business. This role can be based in Charlotte, NC or Knoxville, TN
 
 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop an online dashboarding tool that provides financial, HR, and client data to all responsible parties across the organization.  You will partner with a project management professional to select the preferred tool, implement the system, and provide user acceptance training during the transition.
•    Provide both routine and ad-hoc financial analysis on all aspects of the business (i.e. revenue, labor, supplies, vendor allowance, overheads, etc.). 
•    Support the sector the CFO and sector Controller with the annual budgeting process, file compilation, research, and presentation preparation.
•    Execute process improvement throughout the finance and accounting teams to increase speed of delivery and accuracy.
•    Other duties and projects as assigned based on business and team support needs.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance.
•    Minimum of three (3) years in a Corporate Finance, Financial Analyst, Accountant, or Financial Audit/Training role.
•    Experience with PowerBI or other dashboarding tools required
•    Excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
•    Strong technical finance and accounting knowledge
•    Strong financial modeling skills
•    Strong data analytic skills (database and data visualization software skills a plus)
•    Experience with SAP or Hyperion Essbase, preferred.
