Position Description

* Work as part of a Next Gen Money movement fleet, enabling various payment types and assist in the redesign & transformation of the money movement platform.

* Analyze business processes, functions and procedures across multiple business units.

* Work on and lead the data analysis, reporting and migration efforts as a part of the platform transformation.

* Create user stories for business and functional requirements, including workflow, business rules, use cases, activity and sequence diagrams.

* Design business intelligence tools and dashboards to show project KPIs.

* Meet business unit objectives including cost estimates, date commitments and functionality

* Act as liaison between business units and software development teams, management and users.

* Become a subject matter expert for banking product data by taking on data research/analysis tasks and answering questions about the data.

* Assist with QA/Testing to develop test plans and more detailed test cases.

* Work with the project team and business to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects or as part of day-to-day business operations.

* Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions Required Skills

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in a business analyst role.

* 3+ years of experience in Money Movement application

* 3+ years of experience in Workflow Automation

* Practiced understanding of system-to-system communication, contracts, and sequence diagrams.

* Strong analytical and people skills, including thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

* Excellent verbal and presentation skills.

* Ability to multitask across a number projects.

* Proficient in JIRA

* Experience within an Agile framework.


Desired skills

* Self-motivated, innovative and can work independently as well as in a team environment

* Able to drive implementation quickly with high degree of quality.

* Strong understanding of systems design such as service oriented and microservice architecture.

* Experience in financial services field

* Understand how to create user flows and UI mockups

* Ability to understand and manipulate data for analysis

* Basic knowledge of JSON, Swagger, Postman and internet browser developer tools

* Proficient in MS Teams and MS Office applications: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Project

* Willingness to learn and grow.
