Job Description
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Food & Beverage at Wynn Las Vegas.
- Responsible for providing personal administrative support to the department’s executives.
- Perform general clerical duties to include photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Answer the telephone and confirm appointments with knowledge of telephone etiquette.
- Organize and manage calendars and meeting invites.
- Coordinate and set up travel arrangements as needed.
- Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Create, transcribe, and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
- Handles confidential files, materials, correspondence, etc.
- Ensures office supplies are in adequate stock to support the general operations of the department.
- Checks and processes expense reports.
- Communicates with other departments’ executives, executive assistants, and line management to gather or convey relevant information.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of wire requests, intercompany transfers, and certain reports and other deliverables of the department.
- Performs a wide variety of miscellaneous duties as requested by the department’s executives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive assistant position is preferred.
- Requires intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Exposure to sensitive information and must use considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/multi-tasking environment.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Requires a willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends.
- Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
