As a 50/50 joint venture between Sony and Honda, SHM was established in Japan on September 28th, 2022, with over 200 employees in Tokyo. Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Financing Product to lead the creation of a vehicle financing program. This role is crucial for negotiating with banks to establish automotive leasing programs and controlling KPIs for lease and loan products. The ideal candidate will bring a lender's perspective to complement our existing seller-side expertise, participate in pricing discussions, and help set the NET pricing and monthly payment strategy for our vehicles, which come with subscription programs and added value products like insurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Negotiate with banks to create and implement a vehicle financing program.
- Develop and manage KPIs for the financing program, including leases and loans.
- Participate in pricing discussions for products and services, ensuring competitive and strategic pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financing options with subscription programs and added value products.
- Provide insights and strategies for setting NET pricing and monthly payment plans.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure the financing program remains competitive and attractive to customers.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote financing options and drive customer engagement.
Qualifications for Position
Required
- Proven experience in negotiating with banks and creating automotive leasing programs.
- Strong understanding of financing products, including leases and loans.
- Ability to control and manage KPIs for financing programs.
- Experience in pricing discussions and strategy development for products and services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
- Experience working on the bank side of automotive financing.
- Familiarity with subscription programs and added value products like insurance.
- Ability to provide a lender's perspective to complement seller-side expertise.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000-$160,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
