Position Duties

The Visual and Performing Arts department is seeking a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor for the 25-26 academic year.

This is a 10-month full-time teaching faculty position that will entail 50% Teaching, 30% Administration (choral groups), 20% service.

Administrative duties to include:

- All logistical and administrative work required for choir concerts beyond normal teaching/classroom duties

- Administration/assessment of Applied Lessons (including required Juries) and hiring of Affiliate Instructors/Faculty 

- Hiring/coordination/etc of Ensemble Directors to include concert scheduling and coordination

Administration of music library, to include:

-Acquisition and cataloguing of repertoire for choral, jazz, and chamber ensembles. 

-Maintenance and review of catalogue; purge of outdated repertoire.

Supervision of Student Worker.

-General instrument maintenance and equipment upkeep beyond OTS capabilities and/or typical program direction duties as outlined in Faculty Handbook

Master's degree and relevant professional experience.
