The Success, Technology, Experience, and Platform (STEP) team is focused on meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers worldwide by evolving our market-leading platform and scalable, intelligent workflow solutions to make the world work better for everyone. This position serves as the strategic communications lead and trusted partner to our SVP and GM of Technology Workflows, our largest and most widely used product line responsible for annual revenue $7B+. Working collaboratively and with an integrated team across HR, strategic operations, and other key teams throughout the company, this individual will develop integrated communications and executive visibility programs to inspire multiple audiences to be part of the ServiceNow story. They will partner closely with business leaders and oversee the execution of recommended content, creative, and stakeholder communications. 

What You’ll Do: 
As a member of the STEP Platform and Workflows Executive Communication team, you will bring to life impactful communications that enhance our company's reputation and drive engagement with key stakeholders. 

How You’ll Do It:  

  • Executive Presence and Relationship Building: Create relationships with executive stakeholders to understand their business strategy, voice, and priorities. Comfort presenting to an audience at this level is critical, as is the ability to distill complex information and turn it into meaningful messaging. 

  • Writing: Craft emotional, relevant, and memorable omni-channel content and stories, continually experimenting and evolving to drive engagement and business impact.  

  • Project Management: Ensure work flows seamlessly and utilize listening, evaluation tools, and analysis to keep us iterating and innovating.  

  • Employee Engagement: Offer strategic guidance on messaging, channels, and creative content strategies to boost engagement and inspire employee action. This includes planning and executing all-team meetings, leadership meetings, and various engagement experiences. 

  • Integrated Communications: Collaborate with global communications, business partners, executives, and stakeholders to create inspiring, effective, and engaging communications. 

Qualifications

Who you are: 
You bring a passion for storytelling and mastery of distilling complex information into easily digestible content. You seamlessly manage competing priorities, excel at building relationships, are process-oriented, and bring a strong attention to detail. You are adaptable, creative, and enjoy working on a collaborative team. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.  

  • 10 years of experience in communications.  

  • Proven experience working with senior executives.  

  • Strong project management and communication skills.  

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.  

  • Passion for storytelling and creating content that drives participatory change.  

  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment.
