Clinical Assistant Professor- School of Pharmacy

JOB PURPOSE:   

The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is seeking to hire a full-time (12-month appointment), non-tenure track faculty member with expertise in ambulatory care services. This faculty position will be hired at the level of assistant professor within the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Individuals in these positions will contribute to teaching, service, and scholarship, supporting the mission and vision of the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Teaching responsibilities include experiential instruction at an assigned practice site, as well as didactic teaching on campus in team-taught longitudinal course series. Additional responsibilities include scholarship, academic service, professional & community service, and other duties as assigned. Faculty members are expected to develop and/or advance ambulatory care services at the UCHealth Family Medicine Center in Fort Collins, CO (1 hour south of Laramie), which has a long-standing relationship with the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. In addition, each faculty member would be incorporated into the teaching and services within the Poudre Valley Hospital/Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program. Faculty members would be based remotely out of Fort Collins, CO, and spend the majority of their time at their assigned practice site.
