About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Trainer to support the delivery of our clinically-integrated healthcare software products. This role will empower care providers and leaders by building and delivering comprehensive training programs. This position focuses on training users across a range of products in our value-based care operating system, which includes an integrated electronic medical record (EMR) solution, population health analytics, and risk adjustment platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced trainer with a strong background in healthcare technology, passionate about supporting care programs that serve older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development and Delivery:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs, across a range of products, tailored to the unique needs of Intus Care’s clients;

  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for providers, multi-disciplinary care teams, executives, and administrative staff at all levels;

  • Create engaging, hands-on learning materials, including presentations, user guides, and e-learning modules, aligned with Intus Care’s mission and tools.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to assess training needs and align with organizational goals;

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and refine as necessary.

Technical Support and Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Intus Care’s platform, ensuring clients are equipped to utilize tools that support complex care and mitigate high-risk events;

  • Provide post-training support, troubleshooting, and guidance to promote successful adoption and sustained engagement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work seamlessly with the rest of the implementation team to ensure effective delivery of product training and long term retention on Intus Care’s products;

  • Work closely with Intus Care’s product, engineering, clinical operations, and leadership teams to ensure training aligns with the needs of PACE programs and providers;

  • Act as a bridge between end-users and technical teams, communicating system enhancements and updates effectively.

Compliance and Project Management:

  • Ensure all training content complies with healthcare industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies;

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of training schedules, participation, and outcomes to support continuous improvement efforts;

  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ by documenting key insights from ‘boots on the ground’ training and sharing with internal product stakeholders to inform prioritization.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information systems, education, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree;

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare training role, preferably within value-based care settings or senior care environments.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms);

    • Familiarity with population health analytics platforms and risk adjustment tools, with an emphasis on Intus Care’s technology;

    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning development tools.

  • Interpersonal Skills:

    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills;

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

    • Ability to adapt to diverse audiences and learning styles.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or related certification;

    • Certified Trainer in EMR or related healthcare systems.
