We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Trainer to support the delivery of our clinically-integrated healthcare software products. This role will empower care providers and leaders by building and delivering comprehensive training programs. This position focuses on training users across a range of products in our value-based care operating system, which includes an integrated electronic medical record (EMR) solution, population health analytics, and risk adjustment platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced trainer with a strong background in healthcare technology, passionate about supporting care programs that serve older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development and Delivery:
Design, develop, and deliver training programs, across a range of products, tailored to the unique needs of Intus Care’s clients;
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for providers, multi-disciplinary care teams, executives, and administrative staff at all levels;
Create engaging, hands-on learning materials, including presentations, user guides, and e-learning modules, aligned with Intus Care’s mission and tools.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to assess training needs and align with organizational goals;
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and refine as necessary.
Technical Support and Subject Matter Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Intus Care’s platform, ensuring clients are equipped to utilize tools that support complex care and mitigate high-risk events;
Provide post-training support, troubleshooting, and guidance to promote successful adoption and sustained engagement.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work seamlessly with the rest of the implementation team to ensure effective delivery of product training and long term retention on Intus Care’s products;
Work closely with Intus Care’s product, engineering, clinical operations, and leadership teams to ensure training aligns with the needs of PACE programs and providers;
Act as a bridge between end-users and technical teams, communicating system enhancements and updates effectively.
Compliance and Project Management:
Ensure all training content complies with healthcare industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies;
Maintain accurate and detailed records of training schedules, participation, and outcomes to support continuous improvement efforts;
Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ by documenting key insights from ‘boots on the ground’ training and sharing with internal product stakeholders to inform prioritization.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information systems, education, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare training role, preferably within value-based care settings or senior care environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms);
Familiarity with population health analytics platforms and risk adjustment tools, with an emphasis on Intus Care’s technology;
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning development tools.
Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional presentation and communication skills;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Ability to adapt to diverse audiences and learning styles.
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or related certification;
Certified Trainer in EMR or related healthcare systems.
