The Global GBS Director and Poland Site Lead, based in Warsaw, will oversee a team of over 100 employees, approximately 50 of whom are located in Warsaw and 50 in Bangalore. The Bangalore team reports to the India Site Lead. Reporting to the Technicolor Group CFO, this role is responsible for managing processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank, Master Data, General Ledger, and Financial Planning and Analysis on a global scale.
This position involves extensive interaction with various businesses and countries, driving transformation initiatives. The Warsaw operation, established in 2009 as a Shared Service Center (SSC), has achieved operational maturity, while the Bangalore operation, established in 2021, collaborates closely with Warsaw to ensure cohesive operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Transformation:
- Develop and implement a global strategy for the GBS organization.
- Build a highly engaged and motivated GBS organization, delivering outstanding performance.
- Create a culture of value creation at each level of the organization, moving from value preservation to value creation.
- Drive customer experience improvement, building satisfaction and commitment through operational excellence and efficiencies.
- Implement a strong governance model with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and relevance.
- Propose initiatives to support the business and become a valuable and trusted business partner, providing insight into business development.
- Process and Technology:
- Lead the transition of processes and transfer of new missions into the GBS organization.
- Oversee complex IT environments involving multiple ERPs interfaced with various side systems.
- Drive digitization efforts, focusing on value-adding processes and finance transformation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead transformation initiatives to improve efficiency through process standardization, process changes, and automation.
- Management and Oversight:
- Manage GBS day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring high-level service delivery for all activities and entities within the GBS scope worldwide.
- Build and develop a high-performing GBS organization and create a process-driven culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement processes, programs, and tools to drive quality assurance, quality improvement, end-to-end process efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Group procedures and policies, accounting principles, internal control, and any other applicable legal regulations.
- Drive end-to-end process quality and efficiency.
- Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of annual budget and productivity targets.
- Ensure service security and continuity of finance operations by maintaining proper process documentation and creating an efficient backup structure.
- Experience and Expertise:
- Experience in Procure to Pay and Order to Cash Cycle transformation.
- Strong interaction with different businesses and multiple countries within a transformation context.
- Proven track record of leading process transitions and transformations.
- Expertise in managing high volumes of data analysis to inform decision-making processes based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIA, or MBA are advantageous.
- Extensive experience in a senior role leading large teams in a Shared Service Center environment; experience in Business Finance
