The Division of Immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital provides evaluation and treatment for patients with asthma, allergies, immune system disorders, skin diseases, and rheumatologic and inflammatory conditions. The Allergy and Asthma Program at Boston Children's Hospital is part of the Division of Immunology. The program evaluates children with all types of allergy problems. We also conduct skin testing to determine your child’s allergies.
Key responsibilities:
- Working in busy Boston and satellite Allergy and Immunology practices with a patient population with wide variety of health care needs including asthma, food allergies, environmental allergens, eczema, and immunodeficiency.
- Communicating with patients, families and health care providers.
- Administering allergy shots, testing for medication allergies, phone triage, working with patients with food challenges.
- 40 hours/week -M-F, (4) 10 hour shifts. Rotation to 1-2 satellites/week (2 Brookline Place and Waltham). Opportunity to work 1 Saturday morning/month (not mandatory but encouraged).
Education:
- BSN degree.
- Prefer experience with injections.
- 1 year nursing experience required. Experience with pediatrics and allergy preferred.
- MA RN license
