Candidate must be able to pass criminal background check, post-offer physical, drug screen, and T-spot.

CNAs are responsible for providing personal care and assistance to residents as directed by the unit charge nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or designee. CNAs will be responsible with helping residents with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, going to the bathroom, feeding, and giving baths/showers. CNAs are responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions to the unit charge nurse.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent - also must read, write and comprehend English fluently

· Satisfactory completion of the 75-hour nursing assistant course required

· Certified nursing assistant certificate required

· Valid and current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals
