Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, Building Maintenance plays a key leadership role in overseeing building maintenance operations across both Wildcat and Attitash. This position ensures the efficient operation, inspection, and upkeep of all Base Area Facilities at both resorts. The Assistant Manager coordinates and supervises the daily activities of building maintenance technicians, overseeing routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on utilities (gas, water, sewer, electrical), commercial kitchen equipment, and building electro‑mechanical systems.

In addition, this role partners with custodial, grounds, and parking teams to support a safe, functional, and guest‑ready environment. The Assistant Manager sets priorities, allocates resources across both resorts, and collaborates with other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks. Decisions are guided by established policies, procedures, and the business plan, with direction and oversight provided by the Manager of Base Experience while serving as a resort leader.

 

Job Specifications: 

• Starting Wage: $52,000.00 - $65,000
• Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the work order tracking system & scheduling work load
• Supervise maintenance on building heating and ventilating systems and controls
• Supervise maintenance on commercial kitchen cooking equipment
• Supervise seasonal painting and carpentry technicians on the completion of seasonal special projects as assigned
• Assist in the trouble shooting and diagnose problems
• Direct and Supervise daily upkeep, cleaning and disinfecting of all restroom facilities, common areas, and trash/recycling needs of the resort.
• Assist resort seasonal shuttle service and parking plan. 
• This position will have involvement with the hiring & disciplinary function related to Base Area Operations.
• Exhibit strong customer service and supervisory skills
• Work with corporate buyers to facilitate purchasing necessary materials to perform tasks.
• Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA and governing body compliance in all aspects of the occupation
• Other duties as assigned
