About the role

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a strong background in supporting Federal Government/Department of Defense (DoD) projects. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing cloud migration, implementation, and optimization projects within a federal/DoD environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and project objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical proficiency, project management experience, and an in-depth understanding of federal government standards and DoD environments. This position is fully remote on EST hours and requires a Secret security clearance or higher.
Active PMP required.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for cloud migration and optimization projects using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; ensure timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, security, and compliance, to meet project goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including federal/DoD clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Establish clear communication channels to provide regular project updates, address issues, and manage expectations.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, ensuring all technical and functional specifications align with OCI and federal/DoD standards.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Oversee the architecture, design, and deployment of solutions within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment.
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices in OCI and support technical troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security protocols and DoD security standards, including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP, as applicable.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, especially those associated with federal compliance and security.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and security protocols, including cloud security, data privacy, and incident management standards.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of DoD compliance and reporting requirements and ensure adherence throughout project delivery.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, technical specifications, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Track project metrics and KPIs, preparing regular reports for executive leadership and government stakeholders.
