About the role:

As the Global Compliance Manager, you will take the lead for Hach on;

Internal Control Processes & Internal Monitoring

  • Implement best-in-class financial processes and controls across Hach’s consolidated operations.
  • Design and deliver training on Compliance and SOX topics across Hach for new associates and annually as a refresher where the need is identified.
  • Design, perform and direct balance sheet reviews and targeted SOX control assessments across Hach regional locations (APAC, China, NAM, LATAM).
  • Work with Internal Audit to understand the scope and timing of audits and to ensure that locations under audit are well prepared.  Support locations through the audit process.
  • Provide support and follow-up on the closure of Internal Audit issues including monthly updates with Regional Finance Directors, and Hach/Platform CFO’s.  Perform reviews on IA issues to confirm status where needed.

Partnership with Veralto & External Audit

  • Coordinate and review the annual CSAQ submissions for each country.  Drive resolution of any CSAQ noncompliance.
  • Perform SOX Walkthroughs in conjunction with EY and work to quickly resolve any identified deficiencies.
  • Determine and coordinate SOX testing approach.  Drive the remediation of any SOX control failure identified in testing.
  • Drive process improvements resulting from SOX audits.
  • Work with the Regional Finance teams to coordinate the audit fieldwork with Veralto's external auditors.

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Support country teams in enabling and leveraging global cross-functional and cross-region support for advancing problem solving and continuous improvement in the organizations.
  • Work with function and country leaders to meet business objectives and improve functional efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging VES (Veralto Enterprise System) tools, consulting skills, and change management process.

Team management and development

  • Manage and coordinate the regional compliance team to achieve Global Compliance goals
  • Coordinate development opportunities and training for compliance team members

Are you qualified?  

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in audit/control advisory experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience with public accounting firm, a plus.
  • Strong in general accounting, auditing, and financial analysis; ability to implement best-in-class practices.
  • Strong understanding of SOX Compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to serve as a business partner.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis; able to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures.
