Job Description
AECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced, Electrical Project Manager for our highly visible construction project at JFK airport in Jamaica Queens, NYC.
- Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS Engineering, Electrical Engineering and 6 years of relevant electrical project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/ or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience as an Electrical Project Manager in large infrastructure construction.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working for a large general contractor.
- Experience as a Project Manager at a senior level preferably in the field of aviation construction.
- Thorough knowledge of project engineering and construction project management documentation.
- Experience supporting large projects and organizing documentation for construction teams.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). As well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
- Experience reviewing subcontractors schedules, monitoring progress and reviewing/approving invoices.

- Offered rate of compensation New York City will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $116,087.33 - $165,424.44/Annually.
- In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite for which you are being hired to perform services, you will be required to pass the client's security screening process to include SWAC (Secure Worker Access Consortium) and/or SIDA (Identification Display Area) and fingerprinting, which will be done after you have commenced employment and is a condition of your continued employment.
