Overview

Under general supervision, coordinate, supervise, and direct personnel, subcontractors, and the daily activities involved in the successful execution of events and maintenance of the entire facility by performing the following cleaning duties as needed, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting. This role pays an hourly wage of $14.00-$16.00.  Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.   This position will remain open until June 20, 2025.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the supervision of the daily, event and post cleaning.
  • Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required; these include, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, stripping and waxing.
  • Provides efficient and safe removal and disposal of the litter and trash from the building, meeting rooms, walks, parking areas and lawns.
  • Maintain equipment; make minor repairs and inventory.
  • Assist with the clean-up before, during and after.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, chemical and industrial paper products, and janitorial equipment.
  • Possess skills and experience in supervising /training.
  • Meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility) lifting, carrying, moving, climbing steps in a moderate to loud.
  • Able to operate light equipment: pallet jack, light truck, scrubbing machines, floor machines and other light power-driven equipment.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form.
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet.
  • High School diploma or E.D. Experience and/or training in the public assembly industry, but not required.
