We believe that the work you do should matter - it should be meaningful to you professionally and personally, and it should have a positive impact on both you and our clients.  If this sounds exciting to you, let’s chat!</p> <h3>SENIOR CLOUD APPLICATION ENGINEER</h3> <p>What experience should you have:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of professional web application development experience.</li> <li>Expert-level command of Go and Typescript with full-stack development experience.</li> <li>Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud platform, including VPC, Load Balancing, and web application architecture.</li> <li>Strong background in web application architecture design, and best practices.</li> <li>Extensive experience operating cloud run applications in production environments with high availability and scalability.</li> <li>Proficiency with git workflows and understanding of agile application development processes (SDLC).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Professional Cloud Developer certification.</li> <li>Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role, managing diverse stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures.</li> <li>Direct experience supporting data science teams or building AI-driven applications.</li> </ul> <p>What you’ll be doing in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the architecture and implementation of complex web applications using Go, TypeScript (Svelte), and Python (FastAPI).</li> <li>Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.</li> <li>Architect and manage the deployment of web applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Vertex AI, and various Google Cloud APIs.</li> <li>Develop maintainable and user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., Svelte, HTMX)</li> <li>Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models into production-ready web interfaces and APIs.</li> </ul> <p>What you'll need to accomplish in your first year:</p> <ul> <li>Actively mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the team.
