Position Scope
Provides cultural information through demonstrations and lectures, and teaches songs, dances, crafts, games and cultural phrases to guests.
Learns how to create, maintain and/or do repairs of moderate difficulty on cultural artifacts, buildings, and props using a variety of equipment and materials.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
Must be in good health and have a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame
Must be capable of moving freely among the guests and be capable of a full range of body movement.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must know the basics of playing the ukulele.
Must look Polynesian.
Should be knowledgeable about the culture being represented.
Should be able to speak the language of the culture being represented.
Should be a high school graduate.
No prior work experience necessary.
Must attach a current class schedule (weekly view) and resume.

Base Pay Rate
$14.00/hour
Approximate starting hourly rate:
$14.00 - $16.00
The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
