Job Description

This position is an integral part of the Production team, responsible for supporting the administrative needs of SportsNet New York. The candidate is expected to interface and collaborate with Production, Remote Operations, Talent, and vendors to help facilitate event logistics and administrative support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as administrative support to the Live Game and Long-Form Production department
  • Create and maintain confidential documents, including talent and production crew schedules for studio and remote programming
  • Liaison with talent and agents, and internal legal counsel on talent contracts
  • Support talent and remote team with T&E expense reports via Concur and timecards
  • Assist with booking travel, lodging accommodations, and in-office catering
  • Provide office administrative support, such as phone coverage, office supply ordering, etc.
  • Collaborate with network partners on planning and logistics  
  • Reports and track music used on-air for licensing purposes
  • Cross-departmental interaction on daily planning execution
  • Provide on-site event support, as needed
  • Produce video clips/ highlight reels
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience 
  • Pervious administrative office experience preferred in sports or media industry
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and outside vendors on behalf of company
  • Ability to follow through on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility with respect to working nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary
  • Strong organization skills and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Salary range: $42,000 - $55,000 + overtime/bonus eligible
