About the role

Civic and Special Technical Lead Coordinator:  Lakewood City School District; 199-day contract per calendar year, full time; 2026-2027 school year; 7-1/2 paid work hours with an unpaid lunch; flexible schedule as determined with the Supervisor (may include weekend commitments and split shifts); position start date as soon as possible.  Assists in the planning, coordination, and execution of all technical aspects of the Civic Auditorium;l operates, programs, and designs lighting, sounds, projection, and other production systems as required; performs routine inspections and operational testing of theatrical equipment to immediately report any concerns; maintains accurate maintenance records; keeps scene shop and all contents neat and orderly; performs all other duties as assigned; responsible to Civic Auditorium & Special Events Manager, Director of Community and District Activities, and/or designee.

Experience in theater operations with a strong technical background in sound, lighting, and stage management or similar experience required.

Salary will commensurate with education and experience.  Base Salary Range:  $30,495 to $54,095
