Overall Scope
Perform all duties necessary, under the general direction of the Plant Manager to successfully lead the Materials Department of Greenville Operations to include logistics, purchasing and movement of all material into and out of the factory.

Minimum Requirements
• BAC Degree or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated Leadership Experience.
• Five or more years Materials or Systems Management.
• Project management experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Working Knowledge of MRP Systems
• Computer experience with excellent knowledge of MS Office

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead Purchasing and Inventory control functions for the facility
• Lead a team of buyers, planners and warehouse management personnel
• Lead negotiation of short and long term raw materials contracts
• Lead strategic efforts to lower parts costs and inventory levels
• Lead strategic efforts to prepare Materials Department for future business
• Represent Company with vendors and customers
• Responsible for maintenance of Purchased Part Variance (PPV) goal
• Produce and report materials metrics to Plant Staff
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Develop and Maintain Budget for Department
• Project Work as Assigned by Plant Manager

• Working at desk and walking in plant.
• Reading reports.
• Typing on computer.
• Standing/walking/sitting during 8 hour work day.
