TLA-LLC is seeking a highly-skilled Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and create innovative solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about software development and enjoys working in a friendly and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Good understanding and experience with JAVA and object-oriented programming concepts (inheritance, polymorphism, etc)
- Good understanding of python or jython javascript framework
- Very good understanding and experience with relational databases and SQL - does not have to be Oracle. Experience working with SQL tools like SQLDeveloper or Toad
- Understanding and experience using Eclipse IDE
- Familiarity and experience with a J2EE application server platform (websphere or Weblogic)
- Familiarity with PKI concepts and certificates
- Understanding of web service protocols SOAP and REST
- Understanding and experience working with COTS software packages. The current application is not a custom application. It has been configured and customized through a vendor provided framework. This is not an application that was developed from the ground up.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Communication skills and can write technical and functional requirements (user stories)
Desired Skills
- Experience building GUI applications and understanding GUI concepts.
- Previous experience or knowledge of logistics business processes and police (procurement, accountable property and inventory)
- Previous experience with an enterprise asset management COTS product like MAXIMO or SAP is a plus.
