We have built and continue to develop a delivery orchestration platform that connects shippers to an extensive courier ecosystem to automate, optimize, and control the entire delivery supply chain, from the demand signal to the proof of delivery.</span></span><br/><br/><span><span>Our OmniPoint SaaS platform uses proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence to power efficient same-day delivery programs for major companies like Lowe’s, Pepsi, American Tire Distributors, and Advance Auto Parts.</span></span><br/><br/><span><span>As (Senior) Backend Developer (Node.js), you join a team of talented engineers and developers working together to transform final mile logistics and supply chain operations.  Your role will be managing the interchange of data between OneRail and 3rd party services, as well as interacting with data stores, and exchanging information between internal microservices.</span></span><br/><br/><span><b><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></b></span><ul><li><span><span><span>Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and APIs that power our logistics platform.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions using Node.js and other modern backend technologies.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high code quality and reliability.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize processes.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Document technical specifications and architectural decisions for future reference.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Assist in automating deployment processes and improving CI/CD pipelines.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform.</span></span></span></li></ul><span><b><span>Requirements:</span></b></span><ul><li><span><span><span>3+ years (6+ years for senior position) of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js &amp; TypeScript.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB or similar. </span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Understanding of cloud services (Azure and GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2+).</span></span></span></li></ul><span><b><i><span>Not sure if you have enough experience to meet the challenge, but still willing to learn and join our team?
