Test Engineer - Evening Shift

As a Test Engineer, you will support Anduril’s solid rocket motor research, development, and manufacturing efforts. This position will support national defense initiatives by performing operations related to the destructive and non-destructive testing of energetic materials, inert materials, and rocket motors. Shift hours: 7 am - 2 pm (subject to change)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the test planning process.
- Researching and implementing industry standards.
- Performing materials testing and solid rocket motor testing.
- Conducting data reduction and analysis.
- Providing status updates to leadership and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 0-4 years of professional experience.
- Ability to learn and apply concepts quickly.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and programming.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Ability to work alone and in a team.
- Ability to hold and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.
- Familiarity with National Instruments DAQ systems and LabVIEW.
- Experience with load cells, pressure transducers, strain gauges, thermocouples, etc.
- Experience with solid rocket motors, hybrid rocket motors, or liquid rocket engines.
- Experience with handling of energetic or hazardous materials.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
