What You'll DoThe YWCA IT Department is responsible for managing the technology infrastructure for 20+ Sites across the City of Seattle, King and Snohomish Counties.  We manage over 350 users and devices throughout the agency in support of our mission.  The IT Business Systems Administrator is a hybrid role bridging a traditional Business Analyst and Systems Administrator.  This individual isresponsible for analyzing YWCA business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing and maintaining the IT Systems related to those processes specifically relating to applicationmanagement, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft 365 Platform. 
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems in a Non-Profit environment. 
Note: This is a hybrid position, with a certain percentage of time spent working remotely and a certain percentage of time spent working out of a YWCA office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Analysis 
  • Collaborate with YWCA staff to understand their needs and gather detailed program requirements 
  • Propose and design technical solutions that meet needs and objectives of different programs 
  • Solution training and support for non-technical staff 
  • Assistance with implementation of third party technical solutions and integration throughout the agency 

  • SharePoint Online Administration  
  • Administer and support the SharePoint Online platform and the organization’s intranet, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. 
  • Manage continuous improvement and changes affecting SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services, including typical system administrative activities such as site creation, site administration, and issue resolution. Use Sharegate for SharePoint Online and Teams for migration, management, and reporting of SharePoint Online content, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
  • Provide technical support to users regarding SharePoint Online usage and troubleshooting 
  • Create and manage workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to automate business processes. 
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps to enhance user experience and streamline operations. 

  • System Administration 
  • Active Directory Administration  
  • Intune Administration (Device Management, Mobile Device Management, Architecting Policies) 
  • Backup Administration for On Premise, Cloud, and M365

  • Support the YWCA’s Social Justice Initiative by understanding how racism, sexism, classism, and other oppressions play out in institutions and systems. 
  • Use the lens of social justice to review policies and procedures. 
  • Shows demonstratedability to interact with people of different cultures. 

QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in computer science, IT, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience managing and administering SharePoint environments, including SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Microsoft Power Automate. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 tools, Sharegate, and Microsoft Teams administration. 
  • Experience in configuring and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries, as well as in content migration and end-user support. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and writing abilities. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems remotely, handle multiple priorities, manage tickets against SLA, and adapt to workload changes. 
  • Experience with the nonprofit sector is preferred. 

Hours, Rate, and Benefits

  • Annual Salary $70,000 - $85,000
