Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent to join our Government Satellite Supply Chain Team in El Segundo, CA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Procurement Agents.

This position will provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance; and will lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions

• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements

• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions

• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues

• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities

• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience in supplier management or supply chain management

• 5+ years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

• 5+ years’ experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

• 5+ years’ experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes

• 5+ years’ experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 7+ years’ experience in supplier management or supply chain management

• 7+ years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

• 7+ years’ experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

• 7+ years’ experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes

• 7+ years’ experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement

Work Location:

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level (Level 4): USD $102,000 – $126,000

Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 5): USD $125,800 – $155,400
