Job Summary:
Reporting into the VP of Talent and Organizational Development, The Regional Talent Development Leader will join a growing HUB HR team. This role is accountable for crafting and delivering development initiatives that improve the employee and leadership experience at HUB International.
The Regional Talent Development Manager will be a member of the Corporate Talent Development team, and a key member of the Pacific Region HR team. This role will be accountable for designing, delivering, and continuously improving learning and organizational development initiatives that align with HUB’s enterprise talent strategy while also supporting region-specific talent initiatives. This HR leader will also facilitate various leadership and employee training within their assigned region and across the enterprise.
This position will be located in the Pacific Region (Los Angeles/Orange County/San Deigo/Bay Area/Seattle Metro area) near a HUB Location and will have a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead talent development projects/initiatives for the enterprise, taking into consideration the breadth of our businesses, our multi-national geography and needs of employees across HUB.
Determine relevant and meaningful program measures and success metrics that will measure the impact of our talent development initiatives.
Act as lead consultant to stakeholders across the business and the Pacific HR team to identify and understand talent needs and help direct the design and development of programs to align with organizational goals and strategy.
Participate or lead strategic talent and organizational development (OD) initiatives – e.g. organizational design, change management, talent assessment, transition planning, team effectiveness.
Facilitate complex leadership and employee development programs across talent segments and geographies: experience delivering both internally designed and licensed vendor content
Provide support and execution for employee-centric people processes and programs that span across the employee life cycle within their assigned region.
Provide talent development thought leadership, design, and delivery expertise for various talent segments (employees, leaders, senior executives), and development needs (leadership and career development.)
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR, talent, or organizational development experience
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a learning and facilitation role
Learning and development expertise, with proven experience designing and delivering employee development and leadership development programs
A customer service mindset and an ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with all levels of leadership
Blend of strategic thinking and practical execution
Proficient in designing measurement strategies and using people analytics – be able to harness and use data to make informed decisions
Understands the dynamics of a decentralized/matrix organization
Proven project management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and manage ambiguous situations
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, LMS systems (Cornerstone), Learning Development technology (Articulate, Vyond, etc.)
Strong negotiation and influence skills
Willingness to travel – up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Four-year college degree required – graduate work or degree in organizational development, HR, Education, or relat
