While we are not patient facing, our job </span><span>provides</span><span> retail </span><span>pharmacies</span><span> the ability to spend much deserved time </span><span>providing</span><span> clinical services and education to the communities they serve. </span></span></p></div><div><p></p><p><i>The candidate must meet state requirements to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician: minimum age, hold an active/valid Pharmacy Technician license by the State of Indiana AND an active/valid the PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) National certificate.</i></p><p></p><p>The s<span>tarting pay for a Pharmacy Technician is </span><b>$19.5</b><b>0</b><span><b>/hour</b> and increases based on experience, </span>plus a <b>$2.00/hour</b><b> </b>shift differential for the 2nd shift <span>and </span><b>$3.00/hour</b><span> shift differential for the 3rd shift.</span></p><p></p><p><b>We are hiring for the following shifts:  </b></p><ul><li><p><b><u>1st Shift:</u></b>  <span>Must be available to work between the hours of 6am 6pm</span></p></li><li><p><u><b>2nd Shift: </b></u>  <span>Must be available to work between the hours of 3pm 3am</span></p></li><li><p><u><b>3rd Shift: </b></u>  <span>Must be available to work between the hours of 10pm 10am</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Primary set schedule is offered.</p><p>*<i>Schedules are subject to change to meet business need and due to associate availability.</i></p><p><i>*Must have flexibility to work any day during the week between shift availability times as needed for facility holiday closures, training, and overtime.</i></p> <p><b>The job duties include:</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintains pharmacy systems and technology (for example, inventory systems, automated medication counting machines) by preparing informational and related records and reports to ensure accurate data and system compliance with policies and regulations; monitoring inventory levels and expiration dates for pharmaceuticals; calibrating machines; applying settings to pill or capsule specifications to minimize breakage; ensuring medications are continuously replenished by utilizing the computer and/or scanner screen; and troubleshooting pill cell issues (for example, jamming) throughout production.</p></li><li><p>Maintains and tracks medication inventory by sorting, placing, and storing freight in appropriate locations; restocking and replenishing medication in appropriate location; reporting low stock levels; ensuring stock rotation on a first-in, first-out basis to assist in shrinkage control; performing inventory cycle counts; assisting with physical counts for inventories; creating reports using inventory information systems; and monitoring prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals.</p></li><li><p>Supports facility with reporting and paperwork to ensure productivity and pharmaceutical integrity by entering and modifying pharmaceutical data on system and forms; processing and submitting paperwork; creating and maintaining documentation (for example, files, manuals, forms, records, supplies) and communications (for example, memos, correspondence); identifying an
