Responsibilities
This position requires advanced skills and expertise in Production and Supply Planning for highly complex products. You fully understand different Supply Chain business processes and process flows. You have good knowledge about Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Operations. You know about BOM attributes and how data attributes can impact material planning and PO triggering. You have strong oral and written communication skills. You can solve problems by aligning and motivating cross-functional teams. You possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. You are self-motivated and can drive desired results.
Component Demand Validation: Monthly finished goods demand update in the system may result demand change in component level. You are required to understand the component level demand change and make sound judgement about abnormity and root cause the issues.
Materials Management: Understand supply and demand balancing ERP logics. Clearly identify the materials shortages in terms of quantity and required arrival dates. Proactively work with procurement and logistics delivery team to ensure the materials availability on time to support Production. Able to motivate purchasing team for expediting materials.
Understand the safety stock drivers. Assess the Make Items safety stock level for the supply flexibility.
Able to work with R&D for the part engineering change and take actions to minimize inventory excess due to engineering cut-in.
Manage the work orders to support production: Understand manufacturing cycle time, yield, and work orders. Review BOM’s materials availability to release jobs to the production based on the factory cycle time, production capacity and job start date. Able to communicate well with Production to optimize the production capacity and meet the scheduled ship date.
Cross-Functional team Engagement: Able to work well with cross-functional team including R&D, Engineering, Production Operation team, Purchasing and Logistics.
Qualifications
- Must have bachelor’s or master’s degree in industry engineering, supply chain operations or related fields.
- At least 7 years relevant experience in high-tech of supply chain of manufacturing environment.
- Planning systems experience such as Oracle, Kinaxis are preferred.
- On-Site, no remote work option. Start hour may be as early as 7 am with suppliers once a week.

Pay Range:
USD $110,660.00 - USD $184,430.00 Year
