Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist

As a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be an integral part of this dynamic team, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record customer payments accurately and efficiently
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data integrity
• Investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies and customer queries
• Support collection efforts by communicating with clients regarding outstanding balances
• Prepare and generate reports on accounts receivable activities
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing and payment processes
• Help prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or work experience equivalent.
• Construction, Renewable energy or project accounting industry experience.
• Experience in ,accounts receivable or financial roles is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is beneficial

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Pay Range: $30-$45/hr DOE
