Summary
The Supply Chain Planner I is responsible for managing the supply of purchased and manufactured materials including processing order requisitions, updating pricing, and coordinating delivery changes. The Supply Chain Planner I works closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure the consistent workflow of supply chain activities.
Responsibilities
Inventory management:
- Support material purchases, tracking, and analysis.
- Process incoming purchase order requisitions, change orders, and acknowledgments.
- Schedules production orders in alignment with plant capacity.
- Expedite past due orders and coordinate quality, pricing, and delivery issues.
- Collaborates with planning, operations, quality, and finance teams to align sourcing activities with production schedules and business goals
- Work cross functionally to process RMA requests with operations teams, supplier quality teams, and suppliers.
- Assist with regular and ad hoc projects to support daily buying activities.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Monitor supplier performance using established metrics (quality, delivery, cost, and service) and address any issues promptly.
Cost Management:
- Collect, maintain, and update cost information from suppliers and within ERP / data systems.
- Works with production team to increase efficiency and productivity.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure all buying and planning activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and international trade regulations.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and recommend mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management is preferred.
- High attention to detail, strong communicator, and ability to work independently.
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Wages
$66,000 - $77,000
