To achieve this, we must serve consumers better than the competition and for Karo, this requires a transformation in how we build our brands, innovate and go to market
For our office in Oslo city, we are now hiring an In Market Supply Chain Manager, that will be responsible for ensuring an excellent service to our customers in the Norwegian market. In the role you will have daily dialogues with all stakeholders throughout the supply chain and the commercial organization, externally and internally.
Tasks And Responsibilities – 50/50 split between local and global
Norway
- Managing all supply chain related questions in Norway.
- Manage the relationship with our 3PL (full service warehouse and distribution partner)
- Ensuring operations is running as agreed with Karo Healthcare
- Day-to-day operational questions, support and problem solving
- Drive process improvements, cost efficiency and follow up/set KPIs
- Manage Norwegian master data and official databases, Farmalogg & Tradesolution, ensuring correct data throughout the entire supply chain.
- Proactively establish relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and key Customers.
- Supply planning of a defined portfolio of products in collaboration with the Global Planning Team.
- Generate and validate, a monthly purchase forecast from planning system and communicate this to suppliers
- Follow-up company KPI’s in term of service and inventory
- Drive improvements and support to implement common processes and more efficient ways of working. This relates to systems, processes, internal / external communication etc.
Global
- Drive and/or support global logistic projects within the Global Logistics Team, i.e improving efficiency, cost, transparency (warehousing/transports/customs etc)
- Supply planning of a defined portfolio of products in collaboration with the Global Planning Team.
- Generate and validate, a monthly purchase forecast from planning system and communicate this to suppliers
- Follow-up company KPI’s in term of service and inventory

Requirements
- Preferably an academic degree or the equivalent in Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics / Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in working within supply chain in a complex environment, mass market (dagligvare), pharmaceutical and / or equally to FMCG
- In depth knowledge of common IT tools (Microsoft Office) and experience from ERP systems and planning tools. (IFS / SAP/ So99+ is an advantage)
- Flexible and adaptable with an action oriented, proactive and analytical mindset
- Independently manage problem solving and drive solutions in an effective and cost cautious way
- Strong communication skills, assuring alignment with colleagues from various functions.
- Excellent spoken and written Swedish / Norwegian and English
