Human Resources Manager - Cyber Missions

Responsibilities
The Cyber Mission Sector (CMS) HR Team is seeking an HR Manager who will serve as a single HR point of contact for Business Unit and Organizational Unit leader(s) and is viewed as a trusted partner who is progressive, responsive, consultative, and collaborative in driving win-win solutions. This role will report to the VP of HR for the Cyber Mission Sector. The ideal HR Leader thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the talent we provide to our customers is the driving force behind our revenue generation.

- The ability to build trusted relationships with Business Unit and Organizational Unit leaders and translate key talent priorities in support of business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in productivity and development of HR within the company
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your HR colleagues – you bring a point of view leveraging new ideas and/or past experiences to influence decisions.
- You can identify root-cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then lean in, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed.
- Ability to partner closely with our talent acquisition team and people managers to ensure optimized hiring and retention of talent.
- Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention, and reward programs.
- Experience in developing and executing change management strategies to accelerate adoption of new technology, program and/or processes.
- The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
- A capacity to develop creative solutions that balance the needs of the business in concert with employee interests.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on driving results.
- This position will not be eligble for Peraton's 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree). Post graduate degree or related certification is preferred (i.e. SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- 10-12 years of demonstrated experience as an HR practitioner with progressive HR generalist or business partner responsibilities; preferably in the government contracting industry, or 8-10 years of experience with a Masters Degree.
- Demonstrated background in employee relations including investigations and corrective practices, performance management, training, and development, and staffing and retention required.
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment is highly valued.
- Local to DC Metro area to visit Peraton locations to include Reston, VA, Quantico, VA and Annapolis Junction, MD
- 10% travel to CONUS and OCONUS Peraton location as needed to promote employee engagement and talent management initiatives.
Preferred:
- Active Top Secret clearance desired.
- Well versed in federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting HR.
- Experience with Human Capital Management software (e.g. Workday, iCIMS)

Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experApply for this role
