Supervisor Nursing - Surgery General

Responsible for coordinating patient care and nursing service activities consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Supervisors operating room clinical staff. Directs the professional nursing care for patients in assigned area. Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management. Assists with responsibility 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s) to meet the needs of the patient. Works closely with Department Manager to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.

Required Qualifications:
- Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Specialty certification related to practice upon hire.
- ACLS and/or PALS upon hire.
- Supervisory or Charge Nurse/leadership experience.
