Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in Ida, MI. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping duties related to client care
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or a related field is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Ida, MI
• Ability to pass background checks
