POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Person
DEPARTMENT: Finance
GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H11--Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Warehouse
SUPERVISES: N/A
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain, retrieve, inventory and deliver various items needed for the day to day operations of the casino and hotel.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
- Inspect deliveries from vendors and accurately record the receivers in JD Edwards to ensure proper payment
- Work with delivery people to return items not us to standards
- Determine proper storage methods, identification , and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
- Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
- Ensure FIFO methodology as a basis for inventory transfers and storage on a daily basis
- Print requisitions from JD Edwards and accurately pull inventory and deliver to department
- Count inventory to insure accuracy
- Log in overnight package deliveries
- Maintain reports and records as required
- Verify inventory reports computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply room or other areas
- Clean and maintain storage areas, supplies, tools and equipment to maintain high standards for both cleanliness and safety
- Comply with U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol testing programs established for safety-sensitive positions
- Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
- Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with not more than 3 or more moving violations or traffic citations in the past 3 years required
- Six months previous warehouse experience preferred
- Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Basic math skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use all type of warehouse equipment including fork-lift and pallet jack
- Excellent attendance record in previous positions
- Willing to learn and to be adaptable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
