Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc., one of the fastest growing IT companies in the world is looking for an innovative leader to fill a Director, Software Engineering position. As a critical member of our system department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI/ML applications to support organizational initiatives, based out of our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Recruit highly skilled talents to build an engineering team for AI/ML application development. 
• Lead the team focus on design and implement novel methods for efficient AI/ML applications. 
• Provide expert guidance on software architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies. 
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI/ML applications, including technical specifications, system architecture, and user guides.
• Deliver software solutions in line with product roadmap on time with high quality.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch.
• Understand new developments in AI/ML, infrastructure, and define how our product should adapt to those advances. 
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MS with 12+ or BS with 15+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in AI, deep learning and related software development preferred. 
• Experience and demonstrable knowledge of AI/ML, and familiarity with common frameworks and methodologies utilized in building AI applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or C++. 
• Ability to work in a highly interactive, cross-functional collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability in building and leading engineering teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Salary Range

$242,000 - $275,000  

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
