Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an Advanced Clinical Research Co-Op to join the Advanced Clinical Research team located in Danvers.

Requirements:

The Advanced Clinical Research group leads the design and execution of early clinical research and early‑stage clinical studies for J&J MedTech Heart Recovery. We are seeking a motivated co‑op student to support the development, structuring, and analysis of clinical databases for several upcoming studies. This role focuses on integrating mechanistic measurements (e.g., hemodynamics) with clinical outcomes to guide the design of future trials.

 

Qualifications:

  • Structure, clean, and curate clinical databases across multiple studies

  • Conduct independent analyses on large datasets

  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.)

  • Proficiency with data science / machine learning tools:

    • Python (numpy, pandas, scikit‑learn)

    • R (tidyverse, ggplot2)

    • Git, Jupyter Notebooks, Quarto

  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical methods

  • Experience working with APIs

  • Strong attention to detail in both written and visual presentation of findings

  • Excellent collaboration skills and interest in working closely with clinicians and scientists
