Job Description
Step into a dynamic role where you’ll be the cornerstone of a thriving home healthcare operation. As a Healthcare Administrative Assistant, you’ll orchestrate vital daily operations that directly impact patient care quality and caregiver effectiveness. Utilizing modern healthcare technology and EMR systems, you’ll manage critical communications, ensure seamless shift coverage, and maintain essential documentation that keeps our healthcare delivery running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage real-time EMR system alerts to ensure continuous patient care coverage
- Coordinate with caregivers and clients to resolve scheduling gaps and maintain optimal care delivery
- Execute strategic staff deployment using advanced EMR matching system to identify ideal caregiver candidates for open shifts
- Process and manage confidential healthcare documentation through secure electronic systems
- Facilitate efficient communication between caregivers, clients, and administrative staff
- Maintain detailed electronic records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
- Coordinate and schedule professional interviews for new team members
- Support payroll processing and documentation requirements
- Manage comprehensive email communications and responses
- Execute time-sensitive administrative tasks to support daily operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare administration, particularly with US healthcare organizations
- MUST HAVE WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy requirements
- Excellence in verbal and written English communication
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with electronic documentation systems and secure communication platforms
- Proven ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
- Professional phone manner and exceptional customer service orientation
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Dedicated quiet workspace for professional communications
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols
