HSE/Senior Safety Manager

HSE MANAGER 

 

• It is the professional figure who supports the warehouse of TRECATE BLDG A and B (NOVARA) for the technical and managerial aspects in the organization and in the achievement of the related objectives in the H&E/FACILITY field on the basis of their specific knowledge, skills and competences, he will report,with a hierarchical dependence, to RSPP and ensure the compliance and application in the warehouse, of current and future regulations relating to Safety (T.U 81/2008).

 

• Ensures the coordination and control of ordinary, extraordinary and scheduled maintenance relating to the Trecate site by coordinating with the various functions, for the needs of the Trecate site and with the Purchasing Department for the analysis of offers and for the definition of specifications of supply;

 

• Ensures, in support of the Company RSPP, compliance with and application of the current regulations of TU 81/08 and related standards and environmentals standards with a view to implementing an overall governance system, linked to the analysis of identifying potential risk factors of the Trecate warehouse and preventive and mitigating measures;
• Plans the control and improvement activities of the warehouse process (e.g. Audit), with techniques and tools suitable for the purpose;
• Coordinates the Safety Training activities of the Trecate warehouse, promptly informing and updating the RSPP;
• Coordinates and manages the internal and external resources assigned to him in his own H&E/FACILITY department of the Trecate (NO) warehouse;
• Processes, as far as it is responsible, the annual Budget relating to the functions overseen;
• Participates in the preparation and drafting of Warehouse procedures in its area.
• Carries out frequent safety inspections in the two Trecate warehouses, interfacing with the relevant warehouse figures, in order to integrate the safety/environmental legislation with the operational and customer needs;
• Promptly informs the Company RSPP and Management of any safety/environment critical issues;
• Ensure an efficient and functional work environment, based on the needs of the depot and on company policies and customer needs;
• Maintains and guarantees relations with the customer for the H&E/FACILITY aspects, participating in meetings on various topics.
• Ensures SOX Compliance on all processes under its responsibility.

 

Skills and requirements required:

• Degree in Prevention Techniques in the Environment and in the Workplace or Faculty of Engineering with a technical focus or equivalent culture.
• Many years of experience in the role (at least 5/7 years), preferably in the Logistics sector, with particular focus on the technical part and direct management of activities relating to Safety at Work and the Environment;
• Proven knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08 on workplace safety;
• Possible training on Module A-B or C;
• Good knowledge of the Office package (especially Word and Excel);
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Attitude to the management of critical issues and problem solving, good relational, managerial and organizational skills;
• Analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and precision, ability to work even under stressful conditions and aptitude for team work and resource management.
