Junior C++ Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer with experience in C++ and Linux to join our development team. In this role, you will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that power our systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop high-performance, scalable solutions.
Due to Government Contract and Regulations, all viable candidates must have an Active US Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required
This position is a 3 month contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using C++ in a Linux environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, optimizing performance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
• Assist in testing and validation of software solutions.
• Follow best practices in software development, including version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software development.
